Hello! My name is Justine Nelson I am a certified Integrative Wellness and Mindfulness Coach, licensed in the state of Nevada. I have a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies in Art and Psychology and a MS in Mind-Body Medicine. I am continuing on to be certified as a Health and Wellness coach from the NBHWC and obtaining my 200hr Yoga Teaching Certification so I can implement the practice and philosophies of Yoga into my coaching practice.
My approach to coaching is holistic and integrative. I believe that in coaching it is important to examine each aspect of life including our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual being and explore how each one affects the other. Therefore, my coaching style integrates various mind-body techniques, such as mindfulness, into the coaching sessions to help build self-awareness and long-lasting change.
To me, coaching is the process of self-inquiry that helps the client tap into their strengths and transform their weaknesses in order to adopt and maintain lifestyle changes and improvements. Coaching is also a collaborative relationship where the client (not the coach) is the expert. I believe that everyone is the expert in their own life and sometimes we just need a little encouragement and support to help find our way.
